Your goal: catch one of the other teams and turn them into potatoes. Avoid the other team.

At the beginning of the game you have no idea where the other players are. Your primary way of learning player locations is by placing cameras at various intersections around Boston. As other players cross your cameras, their positions at that time will be displayed on your screen.
You begin with only 6 cameras, so you'll want to move to the most strategic intersections and subway stops before placing them.

The other way of gathering information about player locations is by purchasing reconnaisance flights from the airport. This will instantly identify the location at that moment of all other players for your team. However, as the airport is far away (you can only get to the airport by taking the blue subway line), mostly likely by the time you are able to travel to the location identified by the recon flight, the other player will have moved. Thus, airport flights are best used when one player can purchase flights every 10 seconds or so while their teammate hunts the other players. You will, however, need plenty of cash on hand to execute this strategy correctly.

Money can be obtained one of two ways:
(1) Free money: free money will be placed at a random location on the map. Get there and the money is yours. Be careful, however, as all players have the same free money spot, there's a high probability your enemy will be headed there too.
(2) MIT Infinite Corridor: here you can gain more money by answering obscure questions. (These questions take into account the fact that you're at a computer with a web-browser, so it's not so much if you can answer a trivia question as if you know how to decipher the question and search for the answer online fast enough not to get potatoed in the process)
Money can be spent either at the airport or at the camera store, where you can purchase additional cameras.
